ستارليك provides LED industrial lighting for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, workshops, production areas, utility spaces, and other demanding facility environments.
The range includes UFO high bays, linear high bays, and vapor-tight fixtures for different ceiling heights, space geometries, environmental conditions, and operating requirements.
Industrial lighting should be selected around mounting height, working-plane requirements, distribution, fixture spacing, environmental exposure, and operating conditions بدلاً من الاعتماد على قوة المصباح وحدها.
For lighting brands, distributors, contractors, importers, and project buyers, STARLAKE also provides OEM/ODM engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and North American supply support.
How to Choose the Right LED Industrial Lighting
Start with the facility and visual task.
A practical decision chain is:
Facility Type → Ceiling Height → Space Geometry → Working Plane → Distribution & Uniformity → Environmental Exposure → Controls → Fixture Type
1. Define the Facility and Visual Task
Identify how the space is used.
General storage, warehouse aisles, assembly, production, inspection, loading, and utility areas can require different lighting conditions.
Target illuminance should therefore follow the visual task and applicable project requirements rather than one facility-wide assumption.
2. Check Ceiling and Mounting Height
The distance between the luminaire and working plane influences the required output, optical distribution, fixture spacing, and quantity.
Higher mounting conditions may require greater delivered intensity or more controlled distribution, not simply higher fixture wattage.
3. Evaluate Space Geometry
Fixture form and distribution should correspond to the geometry being illuminated.
An open production floor, long warehouse aisle, rectangular work zone, and enclosed utility area do not necessarily benefit from the same luminaire or optical pattern.
4. Consider Environmental Exposure
Evaluate dust, moisture, cleaning practices, ambient temperature, and other site conditions before selecting fixture construction and environmental protection.
5. Plan Controls and Operating Conditions
Operating hours, occupancy patterns, shift schedules, daylight availability, and control requirements influence both fixture configuration and energy use.
For larger or performance-sensitive projects, verify final selection with fixture-specific photometric data and the actual facility layout.
UFO High Bay vs Linear High Bay vs Vapor Tight
Each industrial fixture category addresses a different combination of geometry, mounting, and environmental conditions.
| Facility Condition | Fixture Type to Consider | Primary Selection Focus |
|---|---|---|
| High ceiling + open floor area | UFO High Bay | Mounting height, spacing, beam angle, output |
| High ceiling + aisles or rectangular work areas | Linear High Bay | Space geometry, orientation, coverage, uniformity |
| Dust / moisture exposure or protected industrial areas | Vapor Tight | Environmental protection, mounting, coverage |
| Existing industrial lighting retrofit | Project dependent | Existing layout, mounting height, illuminance, electrical conditions |
| Variable operating schedules | Compatible fixture + controls | Dimming, occupancy patterns, operating hours |
A UFO high bay can align well with open high-ceiling areas, while a linear high bay can better follow long aisles or rectangular production zones.
Where dust or moisture becomes a dominant site condition, environmental suitability may carry more weight than fixture shape.
These are selection starting points. Final choice should follow the actual layout, mounting height, target performance, and environment.
Mounting Height, Distribution & Working-Plane Illuminance
Industrial lighting must deliver useful illumination across the distance between the fixture and the working plane.
The main relationship is:
Mounting Height → Distribution → Fixture Spacing → Working-Plane Illuminance → Uniformity
Narrower distributions can concentrate more intensity over defined areas. Wider distributions can cover broader zones.
Neither is inherently preferable. Selection depends on mounting height, spacing, target geometry, and the required lighting result.
Uniformity must also be considered. A high-output fixture with unsuitable distribution can create strong illumination directly below the luminaire while leaving weaker zones between fixtures.
Conversely, an excessively broad distribution may reduce useful intensity where higher mounting conditions require more controlled delivery.
Glare can become significant where high-output LED sources are visible from normal working positions. Fixture orientation, mounting height, optics, emitting area, and worker viewing direction can all influence visual comfort.
For defined lighting criteria, evaluate delivered illuminance and uniformity using fixture-specific photometric data rather than fixture output alone.
Industrial Environments Require More Than High Output
Industrial facilities can expose luminaires to conditions beyond those encountered in conventional commercial interiors.
Depending on the application, evaluate:
Dust and airborne particles
Moisture or damp conditions
Cleaning practices
درجة الحرارة المحيطة
Long operating schedules
Mounting accessibility
Maintenance frequency
Environmental requirements should be established at the actual installation location.
A high bay installed in a dry warehouse and a protected linear fixture installed in a damp or dusty utility area may require substantially different construction even within the same facility.
Confirm IP rating, construction, mounting method, ambient-temperature suitability, and other environmental requirements for the exact fixture rather than assuming one protection level across the industrial-lighting range.
Match Lighting Controls to Facility Operation
STARLAKE’s current industrial range includes products with 0–10V dimming capability, allowing compatible controls to respond to how different facility zones operate.
Depending on the fixture and control architecture, strategies can include:
0–10V Dimming → Adjust output through compatible controls
Occupancy-Based Operation → Reduce full-output operation in intermittently occupied zones
Daylight Response → Reduce electric-lighting demand where useful daylight is available
Shift-Based Operation → Adjust lighting according to production or occupancy schedules
The useful control opportunity depends on both required output and operating time.
A warehouse aisle used intermittently and a continuously occupied production area may therefore justify different control strategies even when their fixtures have similar electrical capability.
Thermal Management for High-Output Industrial Lighting
Industrial luminaires may operate for long hours and at substantial output, making thermal management part of system performance.
Heat must move through a thermal path:
LED Junction → PCB / Thermal Interface → Luminaire Structure → Surrounding Air
Higher junction and component temperatures can affect LED output, lumen maintenance, color stability, driver stress, and long-term reliability.
Housing, heat sinks, thermal interfaces, and surrounding airflow therefore perform engineering functions beyond mechanical protection.
Ambient temperature should also be considered because the surrounding environment affects the luminaire’s ability to reject internally generated heat.
Replacing Legacy Industrial Lighting With LED
Industrial facilities may still use metal halide, high-pressure sodium, fluorescent high bays, or other legacy systems.
An LED retrofit can change power consumption, optical distribution, controllability, maintenance requirements, and delivered illumination, so replacement should not rely on a fixed wattage conversion.
Document:
Existing lamp and fixture type
Existing fixture quantity and spacing
ارتفاع التثبيت
Facility and aisle geometry
Existing and required illuminance
التوحيد المطلوب
Electrical system
Existing mounting conditions
Environmental exposure
Control requirements
Then evaluate:
Existing System → Existing Layout → Required Lighting Performance → LED Distribution → Required Output → Controls → Final Fixture
A successful retrofit replaces the required lighting function and performance, not simply the old fixture wattage.
OEM & ODM Industrial Lighting Solutions
STARLAKE provides OEM and ODM support for lighting brands, distributors, importers, wholesalers, contractors, and project suppliers requiring standard or customized industrial-lighting programs.
Depending on the project, customization can involve output, optics, drivers, voltage, controls, housing, mounting, branding, labeling, packaging, and product development.
| التخصيص | Possible Project Impact |
|---|---|
| Output / Optics | Photometric evaluation and application matching |
| محرك / جهد كهربائي | Electrical compatibility and testing |
| عناصر التحكم | Driver, sensor, and system compatibility |
| Housing / Thermal Structure | Mechanical and thermal evaluation |
| Mounting | Installation and structural considerations |
| العلامة التجارية / التغليف | MOQ, artwork, packaging development, lead time |

Combined with engineering and OEM/ODM capabilities, the manufacturing platform supports individual industrial projects as well as longer-term supply programs.
What We Need to Recommend the Right Industrial Lighting
A useful industrial-lighting recommendation begins with facility conditions.
For project evaluation or quotation, provide:
Facility type and application
Floor plan or facility dimensions
Ceiling or mounting height
Fixture spacing or existing lighting layout
Working-plane height
Existing fixture information for retrofit projects
Required illuminance or foot-candle target
جهد الدخل
الظروف البيئية
CCT المفضل
Mounting requirements
متطلبات التعتيم أو التحكم
الشهادات المطلوبة
الكمية التقديرية
If available, also provide a facility drawing, lighting layout, ceiling plan, existing fixture specification, or installation photographs.
STARLAKE can then evaluate:
Fixture Category → Distribution → Required Output → Mounting → Electrical Configuration → Controls
based on the actual facility rather than a requested wattage alone.
